(Computer Science, ีUniversity Of Maryland - College Park (UMD) To reply: I am only notified by the official email. One professor is cc-ed in the email but he's just a person of contact for me to ask non-logistics questions. I never contacted any UMD professors before. The class size is very small so almost all admitted students can get TA/RA.

Public Policy, University of Maryland It was with Professor Patwardhan for environmental policy. The interview was a bit strange as we had the interview via skype as he was driving home (because I am currently in Asia and am 13 hours ahead of EST). The interview was ok (not great )and he told me that we would have to see what the admissions committee would do. Did you have an interview as well?

Economics, University of Maryland (I am one of the below WL posts, so this is not a new one) TBP: it's obviously impossible to tell, but based on last year it seems like a fair number of WL people got contacted for interviews and offered admission in early/mid April. Seems doubtful that there will be too much movement before then, though.
