Received a call from a PI I listed on my app who said they'd send an email with more details on Wednesday.

Got an email from my top choice PI telling me to wait for an interview req thats coming soon!

got a phone call 11:30am PST from PI not listed on my application - email to come by wednesday with interview date options.

got phone called from my #1 PI that I stated on the application

Masters GPA 4.0. International student. 1 year full-time research after masters degree. 1 first-author preprint; 1 first-author manuscript in prep. 2 middle-author papers published. Diverse research history with both experimental and mathematical modeling method development experience.

Received phone call for interview! Email expected later this week.

Phone call invite to interview weekend!! I didn't get "initial Zoom interviews" and had given up. OMG!! I'm waiting for the email to make this real for me, although I put the professor on speaker and my sister says she heard the same things I did LOL

Program director reached out to me via email in January (shortly after the interview) to let me know that I was recommended for admission to the School Psych PhD program! I later received a formal admissions letter from Berkeley about my admission and funding around March. I accepted and started in August!

I am an international student with an MA in Psychology from the U.S. I was admitted from the waitlist. I was already informed that most of the decisions are released by April 1st. Thrilled to start the program!
