Computer Science, Stanford University - international applicant (Europe) - graduated in top 1% - thesis got published and awarded “best paper†- 3 LoRs, one from CEO of space company - founded startup that got acquired - internship at big tech company This is genuinely not to brag, but I did think I would be accepted. Am so curious about the reasoning of the committee, but unfortunately that will always be a black box. Sincere congratulations to everyone that got accepted, have a wonderful time at Stanford :)
