All those who didn't receive any notifications/updates are presumably rejected (a grad officer told me when I called). I will go to NC State, where I have been given a full funding.

Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology I did my under grad from Gitam University, India. Received a mail from my proposed PI for a Skype interview in first week of January. He said I had a interesting profile and would like me to interview me for a graduate position at MIT. I had not previously contacted him. Can some one let me know what do they ask for interview?

Chemical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology To the poster below: I am an International student and have applied for Ph.D. in ChemE. I have not heard any decision yet, but one of the profs from MIT informed me that admits are mostly given from early Jan to late Jan, and the rejections are sent in mid Feb. So maybe, we should not expect admits from MIT :(

Chemistry, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Good GPA and GRE scores; 3 strong LoR; One pub in preparation; Contacted a professor. Received a Skype call saying that I am admitted. The committee has finally finished the admission decision procedure. Formal offer will be sent in a few days. Really excited!

EECS (Electrical Engineering And Computer Science), Massachusetts Institute of Technology I thought that they will be sending out their decisions in the first week of February. Based on the couple of acceptance posts below, it seems like they are early this year. Anyway, I haven't heard back anything yet, neither from department nor from PI, since the last contact. Waiting for a magic moment...
