Chemistry, Massachusetts Institute of Technology I got accepted two weeks ago but my offer is revoked today. My professor told me to write the reference letter myself and she signed it. It is very common in German. But the grad office reviewed and noticed my edit history… Shit! Extremely careful check this year! But glad that they used a very clever way to protect my reputation.

Operations Research, Massachusetts Institute of Technology My top choice and a call from a POI! So unexpected!! No pubs, but a ref from an alum of the program. Will be turning down offers from Columbia, Berkeley, Northwestern, USC, and UNC Chapel Hill. Not sure yet whether I will go to MIT or Stanford OIT. Best of luck to everyone!
