~2 years work ex. No publications. No funding (although mail says, eligible for ' other forms of campus employment')

Got accepted and offered standard stipend of $1500/mo.

To the poster below: Stanford Department of Physics requires TWO copies of the official transcript to be mailed to the department. The transcripts requirement is listed on the graduate admissions webpage but not on the apply web application form page. I also learned this from my classmates who were also applying and noticed this point.

Limbo

I know others heard back already, but I just heard back today. So don't give up hope if you're still waiting!

Going to have a Skype interview on next Monday, finger cross!

1 journal publication, 1 patent filed and 3 conference presentations. 2 summer internships. 3 years of research experience overall. 3 hopefully strong LORs.

Accepted with partial tuition waiver, no assistantship. Two actuarial exams passed.

"In an ordinary year we are initially able to offer admission to between 8 and 9 percent of applicants, but budgetary constraints (particular to this year) have reduced that to less than 5 percent."

UCSC undergraduate; psychology major, education minor Jr./Sr. GPA: 3.87 CBEST and CSET passed prior to applying.
