Graduate School Admission Results

To the poster asking where did I get my info, it is based on the data in this forum. Since 2014 Stanford has been releasing Ms CS decisions on Friday on the third week of March. Yup, I’m that nervous/anxious to have checked this on the forum :) (hits F5 on the keyboard just in case).

One first-author paper. Being considered for the Masters program. Personally don't care, as I got into my top choice.

CMT. First response, so $100% admit rate so far! Many profs here do stuff I'm interested in. 4 years of research, 2 forthcoming papers.

BS in Mechanical Engineering. Some research experience (1 year). Non-thesis Master's degree, no funding.

Generic rejection email. I've answered the admissions test very well and the interview didn't go too badly, but didn't answer all technical questions perfectly. I have a low first in physics undergrad from a top university in the UK.

Are all the admits out, I see in last year all the admits were out by this time.

Lovely personalized email from POI, complete with funding information, stating that department would be recommending me for admission. They also said that not all admits had been notified yet but that they would be 'very soon.'

First tier. Not surprised because I got an email after I submitted my application saying it was technically late but they would still consider it. Accepted to schools closer to me so I will be declining my place on the wait list. 5a/1r/1w/2p

To the person below, I guess it all depends on what you are looking for in a school! I chose ETSU because it was the best option for me financially and because I am paying for school with financial aid it would put me in a better position for when I graduate. What was the other school you were accepted to? To the person below them, I don't want to put my email on here haha is there another way we could connect?

No email, but website has been updated. Got on waitlist, so I won't know until May. I'll probably go somewhere else. Still waiting from MIT though I know some have heard back...
