ACCOUNTING,PHD, Boston University I received the email when I was visiting and driving in Boston.I have known that they intend to choose 2 from 10 being interviewed.And I got only one interview and knew a Chinese guy was accepted several days after interview(3 professors did). To be pleased being 10 finals although rejected eventually,and sometimes ranking 3rd has no difference from ranking 100th. Good Luck everyone Will accepting another one.

African History, Ithaca College Dream school and only one I ended up applying to so this hurt. Was not amused by "Dear Applicant" form rejection email. Will try again in the fall and apply to other schools as well. Congrats to those who were successful.

Creatiive Writing (fiction) MFA, Brooklyn College Hey guys, let's remember that being admitted to a certain program doesn't make you a better person than others who didn't. You deserve to be proud that you were accepted, but creative writing isn't everything to life, or character.

(Computer Science, UCLA 2 papers in area of interest, funding from another institution provided if I were accepted. I send an email asking for the status of my application, and they told me that I won't be offered an admission. 515 applicants, 28 seats available. Good luck to everybody!

Physics, Michigan State University Freaking finally, fought tooth and nail for this one. To everyone waiting, they already made 3rd round offers and probably won't make anymore. Don't feel bad if you didn't get in, they overadmitted last year so this year was a bit of a bad luck.
