Done with the waiting game! yooo!

Applied on 12/15. Contacted by a faculty of interest for an interview on 01/24. Got an email on 02/05 to check my portal for my application status update.

Other schools so far did both email and phone call to notify an acceptance, but they just did an email

Mailed then for the status and received this - "Thank you for following up. We are finalizing our decisions for invitations to interview, so you should hear from us by the end of February." PS i mentioned i am an international student

Strong connection with NYU. The acceptance letter says they have "400+ applicant with a dozen or so spot". Very excited!!

6k scholarship.

Has anybody still waiting for any responses from NYU biomedical science? I am an international student in the US and I selected Genes, Cells & Organisms and Mechanisms of Disease as my interests.

No information about funding

To the person who posted on 01/26, Im with you. Haven't heard anything. Any idea by when should we expect a decision?

TTPB: I am an international applicant and my main track is Genes, Cells & Organisms. I submitted it on Nov 30 and didn't hear anything yet. My portal ststus also shows submitted. Hopefully we can hear something soon!

I haven't heard anything, I applied to the Quant Bio track. Has anyone heard from this track yet? Do y'all think there are still invites coming, or are they just sending out rejections by track now?

Are there people who have not received anything yet. I selected mechanism of disease cluster but haven't received anything. The portal still shows status as Submitted. Also do International people receive information later or is it just related to the cluster.

Funding pending

TPB -- you raise a good point. It seems like the scholarship referenced was for people who are interested in education research (which, though important, is not my area). Maybe we should hold out a little hope. It does seem like there are some years where more acceptances are reported than interviews (though, it could be that some people didn't list their interviews).
