Then after not receiving anything during that week, I decided to email the department to check on my status. I received a curt but polite email notifying me of my rejection the following day. |

Finally got a decision from Purdue. It was a bit hard to swallow as they told me that despite my strong credentials, the professors could not take any more students. They told me that I will receive an official deny soon via e-mail. God, they took their own sweet time to reject me off of the waitlist. They told that they wanted to give their professors every chance to take in the right students for the coming fall semester and hence they took that long to send a reject. |
