Audiology, Pacific University I was originally 11 on the wait list. I got a follow up email that I moved to 7, then another that I moved to 3rd, then the following week I got a personal phone call about an acceptance! It was very hard for me to turn down offer, it came down to finances. I declined and decided to stay with a program I was accepted to prior to the Pacific offer. Stay hopefyl, they plow through that list. Hope that it keeps moving and they call you!

Computer Science, University of Washington I regret to inform you that your application to the University of Washington Department of Computer Science & Engineering Ph.D. program has been denied. We received over 1600 applications this year and were not able to admit all competitive applicants. The Graduate Admissions Committee evaluated the applications very carefully and had to make difficult decisions, denying admission to many excellent candidates because of the limited number of available slots.
