Urban And Regional Planning, University of California-Los Angeles To the person below who got off the waitlist for UCLA, what concentration did you apply for? If you don't mind sharing - what kind of funding did you get and what's your background/qualifications? I'm also on the waitlist and they told me it's rare waitlisted students get off the waitlist before April 15 so just curious.

Jurisprudence And Social Policy, University of California-Berkeley Received a generic email to check my application account; then received a generic rejection message in my account. I hold a bachelors and masters degree; GPAs 3.5 & 3.5. GRE: V: 166; Q: 154; AW: 5.0. I think I did not have a great deal of "fit" with any of the professors, though I was quite interested in the program.

(English), Stony Brook University Such a really standard and emotionless rejection email. Though I had expected this result, one thing that stings is when I read "We want to be sure we can support every student to whom we offer admission." I have my own full funding from my workplace, so what is the point?

Elliott School Of International Affairs, Elliott School Of International Affairs Admitted with $5k/year fellowship!! Proof GRE scores aren't everything! (Strong undergrad record, great LoRs). So happy!! Still waiting for one more school. Good Luck everyone!
