Robotics, Oregon State University TTPB - I got OSU a couple of years ago without funding or advisor. I declined the offer citing that I am going somewhere else and they immediately offered me funding for the first year as well as asked me to interview with potential advisors and work it out for the remaining years. If you have a backup place, I would suggest dropping them a mail and securing that first-year funding (they usually hold it back if you don't show an interest).

Low, low, low overall (with a good reason & a high departmental GPA) but with a solid personal statement and recommendations. Applied in late March. Absolutely thrilled to be accepted, but may have to defer until next year." Can you let us know what your GPA is in the notes? I'm unable to see it and am dying to know. I also have a low GPA from undergrad and am considering LSE for a masters in 2017. However, I have impressive work experience, would have great recs, and a solid essay.

Communication Sciences & Disorders - Speech Pathology, Mercy University I called up today and cancelled my interview with Mercy College because I have been accepted at schools closer to my home. I hope that this helps someone who really wants to go here. Good luck to all!
