Graduate School Admission Results

Admitted today. High fees and living cost though. Is the degree worth it? considering the present situation of H1B in USA.

To the poster below asking about GRE scores and LSE ID, I applied with 161/168/4.0(V/Q/AW) on 1 Jan and got my LSE ID on 17 Jan. It took about a month to receive an offer for MSc in Economics after being turned down from MSc in Finance and Economics. Not sure if you're aware of this but if you place your pointer over a red rhombus in the Decision & Date column, you'll see more info about the posters including their GPAs and GRE scores (when available).

CMT. IIT, all rejected. This is sad. I considered these three in my reach, which was a bad assumption. Congrats to all those who got admits. For the time, maybe I am better as a Citi bank employee.

Hi, one of the waitlisted posters again (speaking to those who are saying they're nervous about not hearing back.) Remember last week, accepted students were told in batches. I saw people post about notifications each day that week; so I wouldn't be surprised if waitlist notifications are released in the same way. Try not to stress out yet! I've been waitlisted at every school I've heard back from so far, I feel the same way about all of my applications right now and it's rough. Hopefully we can all have a chance to celebrate an acceptance by the end of April!

I would appreciate if you decline your offers once you receive better ones.

To the econ master poster: Yes, probably. I thought it was weird because I have submitted my documents two months ago and the assessment of their validity should have finished by now. Last year the uni released the result around the third week of June, so I guess we'll have to wait till then. To the CDSB poster: For master students it is on the online application page, under "status".

Accepted off the waitlist, number one choice!

Does anyone hear these days from MPPA?

Is it possible for me to commit and pay my deposit to one school before April 15th and then accept a different school that I am currently on the waitlist for after the 15th? I know I would lose the money but it is possible right?
