Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Has MIT admits been sent? It is pretty sad they let the rejects know in March? So far, I guess all MIT admits have received mails. Any of the posters know until when MIT will send mails to admits, i.e. do they send in batches or they send in one go to all the admits. The process is killing me, have heard from nowhere.

Physics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Quantum information experiments, no interview. Contacted POIs last fall, received standard replies... One POI seemed to suggest that they prefer students with outside fellowships, which I don't have. The rejection isn't surprising.

Comparative Media Studies (CMS), Massachusetts Institute of Technology Film/Video and Museum Studies background, submitting additional portfolio of video work via personal website. Would have loved to go here, but understand it's a competitive program with limited seats.

Computational & Systems Biology (CSB), Massachusetts Institute of Technology generic rejection, 6-8 spots for 370 applicants 7 publications in good (not great) journals (1 first author), 5 years research experience (2 @ UBC, 3 @ stanford), conference presentations, no real awards or anything though :(
