Received an email from the admissions committee asking for interview. sociocultural

ignore the interview, anybody heard anything back from Yale for anthropology? (cultural) curious if they had asked anyone for interviews.

3.9 M.A GPA, No publications. Congratulations to all who were admitted :)

Applied for the sociocultural program combined with FES. I have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in applied social science; 3.6 GPA in both degrees. I have around a year of ethnographic research experience and 8+ years international work/life experience in my geographic area of interest. Though it was not required, I did submit my GRE scores. I was never asked to interview, so did not expect an admit. I received an email to check the portal and found a polite, generic rejection letter from a committee chair. Congratulations to anyone who got accepted to the program!

Five rejections strong! This was certainly not a great year to apply; congrats to anyone accepted to any anthro PhD program this year!

Letter said they were impressed with me but just didn't have room this year. Honored I made it to the final round. Combined Anthro and FES.

Received an email stating I had an application status update. Opened the portal to a generic rejection letter.

Email to check portal; expected. The wait continues! Stay sane everyone--

No interview, so was expecting this. Disappointed as it was my first choice :(

Has anyone heard back from Yale yet? Or have an idea of when reject/waitlist notices might come out?
