Graduate School Admission Results

IGNORE INTERVIEW. Has anyone heard back from WGSS department? I haven't heard anything yet just pending decision.

Domestic - 19k (includes 3k RAship)

high 1st class honours from Russell Group Uni, Cambridge MPhil with Merit in the same programme. No interviews. having difficulties in matching supervisors.

Emailed the director and my pi twice and they never replied, didn't even ask for an interview

Master's GPA is 3.71/4.0.

Thanks for your interest in our program. We had 125 applications this year from all over the world and have very limited fund so we can only admit less that 4% of the applicants. As a result we have had to turn down many very qualified candidates. I'm very sorry that we are not able to offer you a place in our 2024-5 cohort. We wish you all the best in your endeavors.

I called them to get an update. They said that they sent out their first round of acceptances and depending how far on the list I am, I may or may not hear from them. So I'm just counting this one as a rejection.

Canadian applicant. Have to wait 1-2 days to receive official letter w/ funding offer, was notified by the graduate school through email. 3.9 GPA in the field, strong references, 2 undergrad publications

Had an interview this week and got a rejection email and an official email to check the portal.

Email that the portal had been updated, included funding package.

I got a nice email from the WGSS director; they stated that 125 people applied and they could only accept less than 4% due to their funding (which means less than 5 spots available in their program this cycle). | GPA is masters, no GRE.
