Anyone who didn\'t hear from UMD and still has hope, well, don\'t have much hope. See "Admission Information" page on the UMD Economics website. Sigh. "Thank you for your interest in the University of Maryland. We received many very strong applications, and we have completed our review of all files. We contacted students who have been admitted and wait listed by email on or before March 11. We anticipate offering acceptances and funding to some of our wait listed applicants in early to mid April. We do not have a ranked wait list, so we cannot offer any more information about the probability of acceptance for wait listed applicants at this time. Unfortunately, applicants who were not placed on our wait list are unlikely to be admitted."

Accepted after recruitment visit for finalists

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone else who has applied to this program, has managed to hear back from the department? My status still shows under program review.

2 startup internships, 1 MNC internship, Good LORs, decent SOP ~ But it looks like the seats were filled in the first decision phase

Straight reject without interview.

I was on the BISI Waitlist and got an email from a prof asking for an interview, some times where given for next week.

Sadly is way too expensive out of state but very happy to be accepted
