Department Of Political Science, Cornell University This year's application process was the most competitive on record: we received more than 400 high-quality applications. This large number of applicants combined with the small size of our program (we average classes of 12 students) meant that we were able to extend offers to only a very small minority.

It was sent at 2:10 EST today. More than 400 high-quality applications for an average class of 12?! Ugh, I'm so over this!
