Its good to finally know though... the band aid has been ripped off

I emailed asking about status so that I could make plans on where to visit. Received this reply: "Acceptance letters were sent via FedEx at the beginning of last week. Denial letters were sent by regular mail at the end of last week and beginning of this week."

it was expected at this point

Letter says more than 350 applied and 9% were accepted.

to the Int. applicant who accepted by Fedex: Where are you from? (have'nt heard from MIT yet and wondering if it's possible the answer is on the way)

British applicant in London, Fedex packet reached on Friday but was only able to get it today due to weekend break.

Looks like I'll be doing something else for a year...joy.

Received Fed-Ex Packet in the morning. Wait-listed for funding:(

No acceptance letter yet, I'm sure the rejection is on its way. 4 rejections and 0 offers so far...losing hope, sort of getting numb to this.

No phone call! Two year FELLOWSHIP 20.5K, tuition remission and health insurance. I am spinning!

to the one who just got a fedex from MIT, what is your concentration/ faculty interest....i am wondering if certain profs are more likely to call and if i still have a chance. PM hopeful2 if you want.

Has MIT poli sci announced results? their website says that they never call applicants. I called the dept and the admin said that they would send out letters today.
