Physics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology CMT, 1 Paper, 1 REU. Very expected. Rejection letter said there were only 40 slots for 1700 applicants, which made the rejection sting much less. Kudos to whoever thought to put that in!

Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Got rejected from the SM in Mech Eng program. Honestly it simply comes down to way more people applying than they can accept so I'm not really surprised.
