Graduate School Admission Results

Email notified me to check the status and had a rejection due to " limitations of enrollment".

Email from the program administrator offering three interview time slots for the end of the week and the beginning of the following week. The interviews are 15-mins over zoom with the "Graduate Student Committee" that manages admissions. I inquired who comprised the committee and received the names of three faculty members, none of whom are the potential advisors that I mentioned in my application or statement.

Email to check the portal with an update that I cannot be offered admissions. I'm grateful they email everyone so early rather than only communicating with the shortlist until after the interviews. I have an MA from UChicago but am not a great fit for CHD, so I was not surprised by the rejection.

Interviewed on 01/04/23. Received offer letter today. No GRE. 0.5 yr of research experience. 3 strong LoRs. No publication.

Rejected by PHD Program but was referred for Masters admission, will hear back in March

School of Medicine and Dentistry's Applicant Interview Weekend, February 2-February 4

Email from PI inviting me to visit UConn for a couple days, still determining the best days for visit - flexible dates. PI stated that they are accepting up to 2 students and only inviting 2 students to visit.

Does anyone know what it means to get onto the waitlist without interviews?
