Graduate School Admission Results

We had over 315 applicants this year, and due to limitations in training and financial resources there were many outstanding applicants that we were unable to admit.

IGNORE STATUS. Is anyone else in limbo and neither received an interview invitation nor rejected from University of North Texas or Georgia State? Also anyone heard from Montclair State University?

Had a chat with a faculty via Zoom. I sent an email first, so this is not something formal I guess.

I really loved Berkeley after 5 years, but I guess it's not meant to be. I'm gonna take it as my current PI is using his adcom power to force me to go somewhere else and get new perspectives.

~Disregard "Interview"~ Has anybody heard back from the Population Health Sciences Infectious Disease Epidemiology PhD program at Harvard about interviews. If so, would you feel comfortable sharing which professor(s) contacted you? Thanks :)

I got a rejection from one of the PI that I discussed in my SOP. Is that normal? Does it mean that they recognize me in some way but can't offer a seat because of the highly selected pool? Should I reach out for opportunities?

Interviewed with a POI in December and got an email from POI 2 days later saying they are going to consider other candidates. Not surprised about the rejection since the POI was the only one in BCS I wanted to work with.
