There could still be some hope... Does anyone know how often they admit off of wait list?

The admissions committee reviewed nearly 800 applications this year. The committee carefully considered each applicant’s academic record, the applicant’s experiences and circumstances, and the letters of recommendation. Most importantly, the committee evaluated the fit between the strengths and interests of the faculty and the strengths and interests of the applicant. Because enrollment is limited, we are unable to admit all qualified applicants.

There is one known example. See the blog of Yann Koby, who was accepted off the waitlist. To other waitlist posters, was the email sent to you one by one?

Was hoping at least for a waitlist.

To the poster below: I don't think they will admit anyone off wait list this year conditional on the fact that they sent out 75 admissions...

No, the waitlist email was a generic email from the graduate school

Princeton is bad

Wouldn't have accepted it anyway.. Already have a fully funded Chicago offer.

Kind of expecting it.
