Computer Science, University Of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) I am not sure the chances of getting accepted at this point. I called them a few times, they always gave the same answer of "you will hear by date X". But it always turned out that no decision was made by date X.

Computer Science, University Of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Our situation is the same, here is their answer for me : "Our faculty expects to make final decisions on the remaining PhD applicants this week. We will inform you by email as soon as a decision is reached. Please note that at this point, the faculty is considering the remaining applicants only for admission. We do not expect to award any additional offers of financial support."

Computer Science, University Of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) I am accepted to UMich with aid and I do not need their offer but I believe that somebody should gather all his/her courage, pick up the phone and start cursing at them as long as they listen! We have paid a lot of money for each application and they are the most ignorant people in the world! Shame on them!

Chemical Engineering, University Of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) To the person wondering about UCLA Chemical Engineering: I called the Student Affair Office on the 14th, they told me they were really behind this year in getting the admission decisions out. At the time of my calling, apparently a lot of the applicant's files are still out with faculties, meaning they are still deciding. They told me they expect to give out more decisions by the end of this week, and beginning of next week. I checked their website the next day and found out my acceptance. Good luck.
