To the rejected post: Could you please share the mail that you got

To the poster below who is admitted to MIT ME PhD, are you the poster who posted your admission result earlier in Feb? So far, I have only seen 1 person saying he/she has been admitted, which is a really low number at this point of time compared to 2018. Unless ALL other admitted individuals do not know of this website, which is kinda unlikely, or the admission process is still ongoing like what it is claimed on the MIT ME website. "Decisions will be done on a rolling basis beginning the end of February and continuing until the end of March."

TTPB: Have 3 1st author SCI journals and 12 1st authors conference papers (1 flagship top conference in my field where people die to publish) Masters from top university (out side USA) last year. I know my field very well and had more than 60 video lectures in YouTube with millions of views. Yes I am verifiable, knowledgable, and proven researcher but it is MIT, where networking and nepotism are at its best. My recommenders gave me super strong letters but since MIT profs are crooked, do they actually value a strong recommender who they do not know? The answer is no- I think. But I have been accepted in another top school, so it does not matter. But unfortunately networking, and many Iranian and Chinese MIT POIs prefer to accept someone with degree from their own country's universities. Seriously? Racism is at its best in academia.

Received the same rejection Email twice! Screw you, MIT, I'm going to CMU! "I bought a big hiking bag last year!"

The email said that the funding decision was yet to be made. Nevertheless, I am absolutely shocked! I never would have imagined that this would happen!

To the poster below: Same thing is happening with me. My prof doesn't know about the admission process and the graduate coordinator is not replying to any emails. :(

AMO Experiment Top of the year in (one of) Oxbridge. Probably not enough experimental experience.

Second author publication, two prestigious REUs (one of which was at MIT). Not my top choice program at MIT, thankfully...
