Dear Applicant, I am sorry to report that, after carefully reviewing all applications for graduate study in music at the University of Pittsburgh, we are not admitting you to the program. Decisions were difficult this year, as we received a large number of applications and the level of academic achievement was extremely high. Chinese applicant with a (still ongoing) Chinese bachelor's in computer science. GRE not required & not submitted. 1-year-long research experience at an EPF Lausanne lab. 1 first-author conference pub & several non-first-author pubs. Probably decent LoRs. eApply status: decided - ESOP requested.

1 year working experience, no related background to design, probably reject the offer since I couldn't get any scholarships.

An international student from a no-name university, not an impeccable GPA, good letters of recommendation, a couple of online courses, and a strong motivation letter.

I was recently notified that I am waitlisted and am at the top of the list. If someone is considering declining their offer, please do so as soon as possible. It would be very helpful.

Ignore status. Does anyone know if they had sent out all rejects/offers/waitlists? Never heard from them.
