Interviewed on 26th Jan, Undergrad GPA 4.0, Grad GPA 3.60, 3 years Research Exp, GMAT 770 (Q51)

Personally, I did not think I was a fit for the program neither could find a professor matching with my research. So I was kind of expected. I also applied for Comp Lit at the same university. Ended up being rejected by both (laughs). 1a/2r/6p

Masters GPA

US undergrad and a Master's from Oxford. 2 conferences, 1 article provisionally accepted for publication

did not send GRE scores; got email from director of grad studies first, then checked my portal

20 min zoom scheduled on Feb 7

AMO

First gen college student, GPA 3.98/4.0, 2 publications, 2 SE internships, multiple international scholarships and programs

T96, 12/25 submit, DDL 12/31

I notified via email to check my application status. (three refereed publications; two of them as the lead author | two lead author papers in preparation.)

I received a direct rejection today, saying, "After a thorough review of your application, we are sorry to inform you that the Admissibility Committee has decided not to invite you to the interview. We understand that this might be a disappointing outcome but our process was exceptionally selective and we received a very large number of applications." Msc from a top US university. No research background. Very strong lor. Compared to the strategy rejection, I think this rejection makes sense. The Management and Human Resource program focuses on OB, but I am an OT people. However, I got rejected for all the European programs I had applied. Good luck to you!
