Public Policy, University Of Maryland, College Park Small letter from Dean arrived 3 days previous with no info attached but stating acceptance, package including financial aid offer of $6,811 stipend and 5 credit tuition remission (along with in state status for other credits and health care access) arrived on the 25th.

Sociology, University Of Maryland, College Park site said "decision was made", and directed me to a testudo website- entered SSN and D.O.B. Feels like a punch in the gut/Do they ever tell ya why? Disgusted with academia's worship of GRE scores and that we have to scratch like chickens for a few spots. Revolution? Hmmmm First ones freed will be the real chickens. Now they got it ruff!

Sociology, University Of Maryland, College Park Thanks to the poster who directed me how to use the testudo website. Had to go the the section for "former students and parents" to enter the SSN and my D.O.B for password. E-mail tag all day with U of MD got nowhere. Kudos to you and the Grad Cafe. Dinged again- two down one to go. Is there meaning in the Universe?

At this point, you are on our list of alternates for a seat in our incoming class. It is our experience that between now and May 1, one or more such seats in our cohort often become available; additional ones can also open up during the summer. Therefore, we will hold your application for a decision and notify you at a later date should one or more of these spots become available.

Sociology, University Of Maryland, College Park thank you for instruction! I get into the website, but still see nothing regarding my decision. My status is in "pending decision".....should I think it is a good sign? This is my final school this year...(I got 13 rejections last year....and I have got three this year until now)
