Graduate School Admission Results

I guess only the ones accepted were sent out mails yesterday. No rejection mails sent out as far as I know

Any other PhD candidates who still haven't received a decision? Are we on a waitlist of some sort?

Can't believe my eyes! Finally got accepted. Still awaiting CMU but not much expectations from that. Will be joining Columbia 99%.

To the post on 28th April. I didn't send them an email. I was notified by them via email.

Received a simple generic reject email. Not sure what they were exactly looking for!

BSc in Cognitive Science from german uni (2 of the official prerequisites courses are missing in my undergrad. I explained how I fulfil the rest of the prerequisites as a comment on the application), top 5% of my class, 9 month research in slightly unrelated field, no publications, strong recommendations.

Wrote a mail to the admin team enquiring about decision timeline. Pasting reply, "Greetings, If you are inquiring about the Fall 2018 MS and Certificate in Data Science application timeline, please note that decisions are expected to go out starting the end of March."

I agree with the one who has updated here that around 100 were offered admission last year for a class of approx 60, i have also read this information some where else. So accept that is correct. Now my question is as I see from the updates here, most of the admits are students in US as undergrads, i have not heard from any international applicant who has applied for this program who is not residing in us now. Also what time in this week the results are expected any idea ? Waiting is literally killing !!

Also didn’t hear back. I guess I was rejected? Really thought that I had a good chance.

Does anyone know when the hell would anouncements come....I called office thrice but no one picked up the damn phone at Grad office...wasted my time and money........

Cgpa 9.01 1 IEEE conference paper and good projects in machine learning. Decent sop and lors. Still waiting from gatech ucsd. 6 months work exp.
