Political Science, Columbia University Ignore WL: Anyone have any idea when we might hear? Emailed the program coordinator who just directed me back to the department website, which doesn't have many details. Should I just assume a rejection at this point?

Computer Science, University Of British Columbia Rejected from UAlberta, UBC and McGill. I'm trying not to associate the rejections with my self-worth at this point. 1 year full-time research experience. 2 AAAI, 1 ICLR and 1 Springer Nature papers. 1 in review at TPAMI and 1 in review at ICCV. Strong LoRs from Google Brain and Institute Chair Prof at IIT-Bombay. 1 AI startup internship, 2 research internships at top-tier labs, 2xGSoC in AI/ML. Strong research fit with profs and several National Awards. Congratulations to those who made it!

Data Science, Columbia University So the results will be uploaded on 30th? A few observations, saw the profiles of the candidates who have been accepted. Was surprised to see the profiles and wondered if the Ivy league status is as selective as they claim. It is not tough to get in, just a lil bit of luck, have seen generic profiles make in. If mass rejections are coming up then Columbia must face consequences of wasting 3.5 months for doing so, an applicant pays money to be reviewed and needs answers to decide on other programs and get Visas as well. Reflects extremely poor on the program and University. All the best guys, brace yourselves.rn

Data Science, Columbia University For the WL, we are finally almost there. they said April 30. So, only two more days to go. After that if you don't receive any response from them. Then, you defiantly need to give up on them :p. I am waiting for their response too thou I have a strong feeling it is a rejection with a small hope of acceptance

Data Science, Columbia University TTPB: (Ignore WL) And to add to that, even if you do get accepted, they would only give you 2 weeks to make a decision and a $4,000 security deposit to pay (which is a lot). I submitted my application 5 months ago and still no status. I feel like I should just give up at this point lol.

Data Science, Columbia University Ignore WL: This is getting unacceptable... and it's hurting my ability to decide on other schools... If this is how serious they treat us as applicants, I think it reflects on the integrity of the program as well...

Computer Science, University Of British Columbia Interviewed by two POIs of the same group. One POI said my app was strong but the number of applicants was immense. The other interviewed me twice, once before deadline and then in January. Not sure what happened here.

Computer Science, Columbia University (Fu Foundation) Is there anyone that doesn't hear any responses from the school? I didn't get anything new at all including the msg of delaying their review or interview since I submitted my application...

Management Science And Engineering, Columbia University (Fu Foundation) [Ignore WL] TPPB: I had checked with a few who got an admit for the MS&E program and they said that apart from the one-way video interview, they were not interviewed personally. So it seems that IEOR is not conducting personal interviews this time.

Management Science And Engineering, Columbia University [Ignore WL] To those asking about Business Analytics - I applied to the Management Science and Engineering program, but it's under the same school as Business Analytics (IEOR). I am still waiting for a decision on my application. Since those who were accepted last week for IEOR programs were given until today to make a decision, I assume that other acceptances for IEOR should be announced either today or tomorrow? I could be wrong. Regarding an interview, I only did a video interview (one way, recorded), not an actual one with another person. Did you guys do an actual interview? Or anyone who applied for an IEOR MS program? Please respond

Data Science, Columbia University Ignore WL. Emailed regarding application status, never got an reply. I think if people are on the waiting list, at least they supposed to send out notification about it like what other institutions did. Anyway I will go to another program.
