Graduate School Admission Results

I didn't get any interview requests, so I knew I would be rejected. Received the email today. Not surprised but definitely a bit disappointed, because I thought I fit the profile quite well (decent undergrad GPA, distinctions in MA programme which I'm currently enrolled in, ongoing research projects combining computer science with the humanities, good recs). Oh well! Onward and upward.

Didn't get an interview, guessing my proposal topic didn't raise the interest of any SVs. Ah well, it seems, what's meant to be will be! Good luck to everyone!

Applied on December 14th, 2022, one day before the deadline. BA in Behavioral Neuroscience and in Sociology. 1 year of professional experience as a Data Manager. No GRE or interview. Received email notification to check my decision status on youSC at 12:45AM PST.

Ignore WL - To the poster below... yes I have the same status - it's said that for a few days now. UMich is on spring break until Monday, so I will assume you will hear back next week. They usually release the decisions at the same time as Marylands Joint Program. Good Luck!

Letter came out around 7:30 EST US time.

Ignore status- any updates about this program? There's supposed to be an interview according to the CDS admissions page for PhD but I've not been contacted about it, just a note saying they would release decisions in early March.

IGNORE WAITLIST! Did anyone hear back from the Survey and Data Science program? On the portal, it says that a decision has been made, and the program will inform me of it. Does anyone else have the same status?

They had more than ONE THOUSAND applicants. No work-exp, so instant reject, I guess.

International student. Top 20 US College, Math + Psych major, DS minor. 2 intern 1 research. No Pub. I guess they prefer people with a cs major :(
