Received a rejection letter through email. Interviews went well, but many factors are taken into account and most don't have anything to do with us. For other rejections: don't let this define you. Good luck with your life!

Bachelor only from young Russian uni GPA 3.53/4.0; 1.5 years research experience; 5 articles published. Overall score: 6/10. 2 rejections left in this season.

Can any of the MSCV candidates who were rejected mention any stats if provided in the email?

Disappointed. Apparently there were just 20 admits because of the deferrals. Deferrals are playing a huge role this season and affecting admissions. And, its surprising that the email states that there were only 350 applicants, last year it was 670. No clue how it fell down

TTPB: Can any of the MSCV admits post the content in their admit email? Want to know if the admits were real or fake and if there is any info on the total applicants and number of admits.

MS/Phd program. Academic interview on Dec 9th, personal interview on Jan 25th, accepted on Feb 7th. No publication. Good luck!

The below admit post is fake. I mailed the program coordinator, the application review is still going on and the results aren't out today. Hopefully we can expect something by next Friday.

What Rubbish! It took them this long to reject!! Used to think it's a good university but after this have lost all respect. On the other hand there are universities which are replying to my queries daily about the changing situation there. Good for me !

TTPB - The email I got on 2nd July mentioned the 2 options I listed below, but the website mentions 4 options (the fuckers didn't even mention on the website that these 4 options don't apply to everyone). I emailed viterbi.gradadmission@usc.edu and gradadm@usc.edu. This is the reply I got from the former today = "Thank you for your email. Because you were waitlisted, the five options to update does not apply to you. If you wish to be considered for the Spring 2021 or Fall 2021 term, you will need to reapply.".....If some waitlisted-->admit students are allowed an option to defer while some aren't, idk what to say, but this college is seriously, seriously fucked up and keeps money as its first priority, fucking playing with the careers of prospective students.
