Email to check the portal. We all know what that means. Welp. On a side note: why must the rejection letters use such harsh language? "Denied admission" is a bit ominous, don't you think? I would have much preferred "So long, and thanks for all the fish," or some such. Just a bit more human--and an acknowledgement of dolphin status. But thanks, anyway.

3 internships (2 research, 1 industry) all international, 7 research papers (2 published, 5 under review). Apart from research, a very average profile. No email notification, result directly posted on My ASU portal which I noticed after a week.

TPB got campus visit from Austin, Congrats, are you in CB or Quant?

Devastated. If you aren't going could you let them know? I have no other options.

Got a phone call from the associate dean and notified the acceptance. The admission offer will be sent out tomorrow. Background: Low undergraduate GPA(3.13/4.0), High GPA(3.9/4.0) in master degree. 5 years of research experience ( 2 years in undergraduate, 2 years in master's degree, 1.5 years as RA position) with 3 co-author papers( IF=7, IF=17, IF=30).

Received acceptance e-mail less than 24 hours after interview with 2 directors of the program. Very friendly people, very excited to be accepted. Undergrad gpa 3.36, masters gpa 3.97

Admitted in the MSML program. No publications, fairly little research experience as it is not the norm for undergrads here.

No masters or GRE. Had an interview in late Jan. Received email to check portal.
