Interview with PI in the weeks following acceptance

I am Italian but lived all my life in the US. I am doing my Bachelor degree in Italy and will come back to the US for Master's degree. I speak four languages fluently, created a two-course credit against racism and inequalities in my high school and have worked as a receptionist for a few months in Italy and then selected by the Olympic Committee for the European Youth Olympic Festival to be an official attaché. My email arrived immediately when the selection process started because the file I received is called "Early". I applied for regular admission.

5 papers & Toefl 100. I once had believed that I fit into it well, but I found that it never was, after participating in a couple of interviews by other universities. So it was a kind of expected but still I feel blue.

Interviewed on 30th Jan. I think it wasn't a good fit as two out of 3 professors that interviewed me talked so much that my research experience was in Chemical Biology instead of total synthesis...4th rejection, still hopeful!

feel sad. But still good luck to other people and to my other programs!
