Graduate School Admission Results

I haven't heard from the department, no interview either :(

TTPB, I guess there may be some delay due to the coronavirus.

Anybody heard from UW-M, PennState and UFlorida regarding PhD admissions in the Materials Department?

Admitted with a 25% scholarship. Undergrad in top 30 cs univ. in U.S. and double major in cs and stats. No publication. one-year research experience in 2 labs. One database intern in summer.

Please decline the offer if you have better options... Thanks a lot !! :D

TPB: I just received the additional graduate fellowship (2 years of non-service fellowship and 3 years of standard assistantship). The offer says 2 fellowships of this type are available across the Business School in each year. Not sure about other schools. Good luck!

Rejected for masters, still Professional masters result awaited

Emailed department about status and was told three profs were still looking for RAs. Interviewed with two and one chose me. Very late for an admission with funding but nonetheless quite exciting.

Spent much time corresponding with research advisers. Originally rejected before more money became available. Full RA funding.

To the post below about UW-Madison. I have e-mailed the graduate coordinator, was told I am on the waitlist and to contact the faculty for an RA position. But, no positive response with funding at all...so I gave up...

To those who have better offers, please withdraw this one. It is approaching April 15, I am very very very anxious. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1st admission after 5 rejected... thank God.

Good LoRs and SoP. 2 years work experience. Unrelated undergrad major.
