Graduate School Admission Results

Another rejection two years in a row... so sad.

E-mailed program coordinator to ask about status: "Your application has been considered, and all interview requests have been sent out by the areas. There were a lot of applications for a few spots. You can contact faculty members that you would like to work with to receive information on how to better your application for the next academic year. Final decisions will be posted by the beginning of March."

Was notified that I was not accepted for the interviewing process via email correspondence with the department.

This is the only program to which I applied. If you were accepted and know that you will not attend, please let them know sooner rather than later. This is really where I want to study. Thanks! (Email from Director of Admission Office, not the department)

Checked the website, then got an e-mail. Yay!

Email explained that my status had been updated on to the website.

Got unofficial resolution right after the committee resolved, by beginning of January. Places for Summer and Winter 2014 already filled up.

Poor Toefl score. So lost my funding... very tough funding rules
