At this time, we cannot offer you a place in our program, but you are on a “wait list” and may be given an offer of admission in coming weeks, if others decline their offers. I should emphasize that inclusion on the “wait list” was very selective—about 90 percent of applicants were simply rejected.

Emailed the department: "You should know you decision tomorrow or no later than Thursday. We have to enter 850 decisions by hand.", which suggest they already made decisions and that's all going to be rejections.

No big surprise. Heard this was the most competitive year for the program.

Nothing on my applyourself either. I guess someone should email the Dpt. and ask if we're rejected and it's just taking them ages to update our profiles or if they're really still reviewing our files.

Still nothing. Looking at the 2009 posts, it looks like we are most likely rejected.

Actually they rejected me on 25th, but they never notified me. Hardly a surprise, since my math background is not competitive.

they say: "we require a minimum of 26 on the speaking part of the TOEFL test. You will not be admitted." if I had 26 speaking score, I did not apply your sucked university? its weird. I have 2 reject(rutgers and irvine) and one admission (from CUNY). TM: crunchtime
