Graduate School Admission Results

Previous one mistake - rejected. Maybe the only IDG admits were those who don't love to neurotically check application statuses on the hour. Weird.

They have better applicants that me.....:(

I tried to contact faculty members for the RA/TA as mentioned in the email received, but I got no replies at all. No assistantship = No MIT for me. Has someone heard about assistantships?

To the MIT poster: I tried to contact faculty members with interests that are in line with my own research experience / interests. I have emailed them a couple of times, first on March 3rd and then on March 12th, but maybe I should again.

To the MIT poster below: which faculty members did you contact? Are your past research experiences in-line with what their lab does? When did you email them? Have you tried following up on the emails? Most of the faculty I contacted have replied (although not all of them had funding available for RAships). Best of Luck.

too many applications

I got the same lame email as everyone else. I think these f**ers waited till now to send rejections. As far as I am concerned, its their loss not to admit me.
