I have been waitlisted without an interview. Anyone else waitlisted without an interview?

I got my first interview assignment on Dec 5. Followed by a minor assignment on Dec 21. I haven't heard anything since. Applied to the NCB group. Anybody here with a similar situation.

Media Labs Masters, Changing Places waitlisted

I got rejected from all 4 Canadian programs I applied to.

Has anybody heard back from the LLK group at all? Or Civic Media?

To Media Lab posters: since interviews are starting, can you please post the lab that you are interviewing with? Thanks!

i am proud of what i submitted (specifically the essay which i've since learned may not have had much importance) and wish those accepted the best.

I have never seen a people who applied(or interviewed) for Affective Computing, I've never contacted by them. No news. I was just hopeful since I've never seen Affective Computing candidate, now you take all my chance since I'm applying with 2.7 GPA :) . I applied for only Masters btw.

Accepted with email from MIT and professor of Civic Media. Beyond thrilled!! Interviewed three weeks ago - first time applying. God is great!

Changing place, design fiction

Had a couple of great interviews, was really hopeful of getting in. Waitlist stings a little :)

To the posters below - the chance of getting a result without an interview is very slim. If you haven't heard back from the PI (like me) then expect the worst.
