Graduate School Admission Results

US citizen but non US undergrad institution Received official letter from Dean of Engineering College just now.

The point is, I've not seen PhD admits (a couple maybe) from UMich. That is why, I don't know what to think.

Any news from UMich MSE?

I wish all of those who got accepted the very best. It is an excellent program and amazing faculty. God is Good.

I haven't heard from umcp, ucsb, umaa, ut-austin & uiuc. I haven't been rejected either. Any chance I would be offered place for phd study so late?

So excited! Just came back from interview weekend.

CS undergrad from BITS, Pilani - India. 1 research intern + 1 publication + 2 years of work ex

Non IIT undergrad. 3 research internships. No publications.

No funding. Too expensive. I will reject this offer.

"The Faculty Admissions Committee regrets to inform you that you have not been admitted to the graduate program at the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources... your academic record is not of comparable strength to the applicants admitted for the upcoming year..."

Hello! So I went into wolverine access followed by "student" tab. Then clicked on "new and prospective student business". There was a login id and password provided by the university representative. Logged into the same. Then application status. Previously, after clicking on the application status, there were two links available being "View credentials" and "view application data". Now, since the last week a new link came up saying "View Decision". And once clicking on that, I saw the message saying that "Decision made. Your program will inform you of the decision". Should I mail the concerned department or wait for them to get in touch? Thanks in advance! Cheers!

So the portal says that "A decision has been made. The graduate program will inform you of the decision". Its been over a week since the portal status has changed on wolverine access. Still no reply. Can anyone help me out?

Very generic reply. I asked about admission status. Then after one day they sent rejection email. I wouldn't apply. One of the professors asked me to apply seriously. Application deadline was over but that professor managed necessary things to apply after deadline but finally rejected. Not a good way to reject after telling to apply. Have good research and teaching experiences with publications. Don't know what they look for. Professor should not tell me to apply after the deadline if she is not taking.
