EECS(CS=AreaII), Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) GPA 4.0, Purdue Undergrad, 1 year of work ex, 3 papers on Distributed Computing, MIT REJECT. The best part is they did not even wait list me. Thanks for that. Anyways never wanted to do a Phd, I only wanted to do a masters degree in CS. Little disappointed,... but i will be okay in a few days.

Operations Research, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) Recently talked to the co-director of the grad program over the phone and was told that even though my qualifications are strong, my background (economics) and research interests (mechanism design) don't fit to the program. I have to admit they're right, I'm very peripheral to them. But I thought it was worth a try.

EECS (Electrical Engineering), Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) waitlisted... in the letter they say there are about 50 ppl on the list and based on their past experience nobody on the list ever got accepted... so waitlist = rejection I guess...

Computer Science (CS), MS, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) well i knew i would get it.. this was the only one uni I had applied to. My dad (MIT alumni) told me that i ll get it. So does it :) Google, you are in near danger now, my new ideas are here :P
