I have to accept/reject by 5th May along with $1000 if I accept the offer. Have they given you a date by which they will get back to you? Guys, can you please advise me on the Post Study work permit. This program is only for 10 months so that means we get a work permit for only 10 months? That will be less than a year's work experience making us ineligible for certain streams of permanent residence. Has anybody got any information regarding this? Also the provincial nominee program for BC has International Post Graduate stream which doesn't require a job offer but the degree must be from pure science natural science IT computer maths stats etc. I looked at this list and found it strange that MDS program isn't listed in it though it's a math and stat program. I will appreciate any help and information!

Just got the same mail. I really hope this isn't a mass rejection. I was counting on Gatech

I sent them an email at the end of last week, I received this answer yesterday: "Thank you for your continued interest in Columbia Engineering. Your application is still under review at this time. We appreciate the time and effort you spent in preparing your application and want to assure you that the faculty admissions committee is working very hard to give each application careful attention. We will contact you via email as soon as a decision is entered on your application." Suppose we still have to wait a bit more...

I can't be 100% sure but I think the 2 posts about offers are fake. Stanford does now send out offers like that AFAIK. & not this early in March. There were fake posts a few weeks back in CMU as well.
