Submitted application on December 17th, went under consideration on December 22nd, and transcripts dropped on February 15th. All the best to everyone waiting for their results

To the poster below with Ph.D. acceptance: Can you please specify the exact program you applied to and if you got any funding info?

Don't understand the admission committee. Maybe overqualified...

Full tuition waiver and 8000€ stipend. 2.1 in Economics from top 5 UK university; top 5% in Master's program in Top 20 European university.

Note to all LSE applicants: I applied to LSE last year and they seem to release rejections in waves that have nothing to do with when you applied or your last name. Last year I was rejected about a week after the first ones rolled in.

I did not receive any applicant ID and my status said "Your application has been submitted". I contacted them to obtain the ID after seeing posts here. They replied with the decision in the email.

Yes i agree with you. Since it is a PhD program, i guess they need to see all the applications before making any decision. I also applied on 16th December. A previous post suggests someone got rejected already who submitted on 16th dec.

I applied 1 day before the deadline. However, I don't believe the way they send round of rejections is related to the day you submit your application.

To the post below: I haven't heard anything yet. But i guess there will be a second round of rejection coming up with all the offers. Best of luck. When did you apply?

First class maths and philosophy undergrad from top UK uni, distinction in economics graduate diploma. No tuition waiver, will likely decline.

Those who have posted/will be posting economics phD decisions, could you please mention when did you apply?
