TTPB: The ones who got into biomechanics, where you interviewed before?

M.Sc./Ph.D Program. TOEFL (96, w19, r23, l26, s28). 1 preprint in NLP/Reinforcement Learning. 2 research internships (Samsung, VK).

Track: AI. Undergrad from India and Masters from Canada at top tier institutes; 7 conference papers, 2+ years solid work experience in a research team (RL + robotics), 3 strong LoRs, good grades and GRE(166Q, 163V and 5.5AWA). Still rejected. I guess it's insanely competitive + my references were not in the admission committee's usual reference circle. Dejected since I'm not sure what else I could've done. But it's okay. I'll focus on the science at some other university that's happy to have me.

TTPsB : The ones who got into biomechanics and had specialisation in Fluid Mechanics. Were you interviewed by Prof. Shawn Shadden or Prof. Philip Marcus? Or anybody else who heard anything from them?

NLP. Highly expected as it seems all PhD admit letters were sent out on 1/31. Felt a little disrespectful for the school to take so much longer to send out rejects, but I'm sure they had their reasons.

Expected. People with profiles way better than mine were rejected.

E-mailed program manager to ask for an update, and she said no offer for me. Official rejection letter will come by the end of March.

Has anyone heard back from the Professional MS in Bioprocess Engineering program?

I got an email around 11:30 p.m. EST telling me to check the website. Rejected, but I have UIUC so it's all good! And I agree with the poster below. If you have been rejected as well, keep your head up! Your good news is coming in due time.
