(Computer Science ), Columbia Unievrsity To the post below about the email that asks if you are interested in the MS program after the rejection of PhD. I also received this email asking for an extra statement. Does anyone how this thing works? Did all the PhD applicants that got transferred to MS admission receive this email?

Computer Science, The University of British Columbia Prof initiated contact; brief interview. 4 months intern experience, 2 months work experience. Minor research experience. Third admit after UCSD and CMU.

Computer Science, Columbia College TPB, yes, I submitted my digital interview on 21/2. Not sure about the verification emails, but we can see whether our recommenders had submitted their letters or not through the registration system. Considering all the required documents (reco letters, essays, tests, etc.) and their completeness, my whole application is finalized on 15/2.

Computer Science, Columbia University (Fu Foundation) Rejected, not the most surprised but a little disappointed. I did however get told that I'm being considered for the MS program. Does anyone know how frequent that is/does everyone get that?

Computer Science, Columbia College Gave the interview today after submitting the application on the 14th. It went all right. With the kind of questions being asked, does anyone think it can carry any real importance for the decision? Or as I read a few days ago, does it just test speaking ability?
