Graduate School Admission Results

Rejection is redirection! Stay positive and have faith, everything happens for a reason.

I applied to the dual MBA/MEng. program at UCB (with Haas). Those results are still scheduled to be released on the 26th of March (MBA programs follow their timelines strictly given they have a dedicated admissions staff). Expecting the MEng. decisions will be released around that day too.

No funding :)

Has anyone heard back for the CEE Master's, Energy, Civil Infrastructure and Climate focus? I feel like I'm dying waiting for results. Have already heard back from other schools and this one is my top choice.

TTPB: I understand the gravity of the situation, there is a complete lockdown in my country too. The issue is that I have other university deadlines to respond to. I cannot ask other universities to delay their deadline because I'm waiting for my dream school to release their decision. It's enough for us to have to deal with coronavirus lockdowns and agonize over our health in addition to grad school decisions. They could atleast update us that it will be released in april instead of keeping us waiting like this.

To the poster below, have patience. The entire Bay Area and the state of California is in a complete shutdown. Professors have family too to take care of. I understand that you need results fast but in this moment of crisis, develop patience. They'll update you as and when they can. This will hold true for Pretty much every school in California. To earlier posters criticizing these schools, do understand that they are going through a very tough situation, Coronavirus is lethal and stay safe all of you,

has anyone tried to email the school? it's taking way too long. Last year the (acceptance) decisions came out the second week of March

TTPB: The person who said that the results were released on March 13th is a troll. Going by the timeline of last year's release and the department release history, it is most likely that the results will release this Thursday, March 19th as they tend to do the mass releases on Thursdays. If they do not come this Thursday, my guess would be that the current pandemic is causing a delay and that they will release next Thursday, March 26th.

Expected since I hadn't received an interview and it's their first year with a small class size.

Anyone got an idea when EECS Meng will be released? Should be done this time last year...

I received two notifications. The first was from the UC Berkeley online admissions site via email on Feb. 24th telling me to check my admissions status. The second was on Feb. 26th from my department via email. I had received informal communications with my selected PI prior to the official admissions notice.
