Pretty blunt email. Even got rejected after doing summer research from the summer before. Just comes to show connections aren't everything. Still got acceptances to Boise State, Santa Cruz, Cornell, and UMich ME. Doesn't even matter that they rejected me I'll still be going there for ME. |

Word of advice to all rejected applicants: Don't give up your dreams! This is my 3rd year applying. (I got rejected by all schools for my first 2 years back to back). I have a MS in Physics with a CGPA 3.71. I became a high school physics teacher for 2 years (sad pay reality for such high qualification). This year I got accepted by 2 schools out of 8 schools I apply. I have felt the sting of rejections for 2 years. Been there, done that. Nevertheless, I never quit applying to grad schools. Don't let schools or people tell you that you're not qualified. Show them otherwise. It's their loss. |
