TTPB: I haven't heard back either yet. Other people have told me that it's quite common for the dept to send out their acceptances and rejections as late as June. I'd imagine this is likely the case this year, especially with the covid situation going on. Good luck to you!

Had anyone heard from this program yet?? I've been waiting and sending emails and checking my status but still no decision was made and no response, no rejection email. A little worried.

Accepted from waitlist.

Emailed them to inquire about my application and then shortly after I received an email stating a decision had been reached and to check the website for the official letter. Unfortunately I was rejected, but I will be trying again next year.

Attended the visit day but have yet to receive a decision as of 5/7. Attempted to rescind my application after 4/15 since I committed elsewhere but was told decisions had been made. For future applicants, it appears that they either do not have a formal wait list system, forgot to send out rejections, and/or have some serious administrative issues. Either way it's frustrating to have received no formal information before, let alone several weeks after, 4/15.

I am part of a program that UCLA normally grants application fee waivers to and my fee waiver status has been under review since December. I recently got an email, three weeks after April 15th, to check my application status. It told me that my fee waiver was denied and that I had to pay to view my application decision. Had they done this with ample time before the decision deadline I would have no problem paying but at this point it is insulting, considering myself and others have practically been ghosted by the department. It feels they are only trying to squeeze an extra $120 out of me. Good luck to the others that applied!

I have waited on a notification for months, so I emailed the potential P.I. I had been talking to and asked if she had any insights. She said she was interested in working with me, but the departments funding and her own personal funding were limited due to COVID reasons and she wasn't able to take any grads this year like she had planned.

TTPB: Also have heard nothing from the department almost a month past the 4/15 deadline. It's completely disrespectful to treat applicants like this. I feel like they just stole my application fee, and I hope future applicants know to avoid throwing away their money and applying unless they are in touch with a POI.

Has anyone heard back from UCLA Statistics program (not MAS). Followed up with co-ordinator 10 times but no response. I can see few admits here, but any waitlist or reject??

More than five months have passed and no new information has been posted. UCLA should be ashamed of their ineptitude; it is tantamount to fraud to accept these application payments and to not process the application and/or inform the applicants. The process is nebulous enough without so called "prestigious" schools like UCLA screwing over applicants. For future potential applicants, a word of advice, do not waste your money applying here.

Has anyone received any admit from UCLA in the past 1-2 weeks? Is there any chance of an admit now? I emailed them, but haven't received a reply yet.

TTPB: Agreed. I would suggest all universities setting up one additional program which admits no applicants at all. They can earn a large amount of application fee at no expense in this way! Liars and thieves!

140 USD application fee, no decision made till now, no notification in any form, emailed but no response for more than a week. At least they should let us know if rejected or waitlisted. Totally disrespectful, I just cannot believe it—curse all the responsible staff and faculty. Fk them.
