TTPB: I also have received the decision update. It is situated right next to the "View details" link. It is a link that says "View Decision". The update says they have got over 600 applications this year for a cohort of 12.

To the student that just posted about the rejection on the Princeton portal below - where exactly did you see the application update? Are you referring to the ApplyWeb portal? Very anxious generally about all decisions this cycle.

Great GPA and stats, 2 years of research at a top 10 school. Happened to check the website, it said the decision was updated. Good luck to those admitted. Very disappointed. American Politics.

POI - system track (one of my friends also got 1 interview in the system track). For the guy who reported an interview in the system track a few days ago, could you tell me if your potential advisor is a new AP?

Top ten CS undergrad program. Research experience. 1 publication as principal researcher for my thesis.

I am getting blasted this application season. Chances are I'll be doing this again in 1 year's time.

Reached out to faculty in advance. Not sure if it made a difference but they said they'd flag my app so I think it may have kept me in the ballgame. I know people here get off the WL some years; hoping it holds true this time around. Either way, thought the faculty were very collegial/helpful when I reached out.

top 15 undergrad, gpa 3.54, upper div 3.73, GRE good but not great, 3 years work experience

Expected. Found out late in the process that it was not a good fit. There's only one prof doing research in my area. No sweat, psyched about schools I did get into. Triple major from top university but no CS background. 5 years industry experience. Strong LORs. Limited research. No publications.
